It is our pleasure to inform you that the Gujarat Council of Science City (GCSC) working under the aegis of Department of Science & Technology, Govt of Gujarat is organizing the 'Vacation Training Programme on Bioresources for School Children' at Gujarat Science City, Ahmedabad during 12th April to 11th May, 2019.
The four-week training programme is designed for school students who are going to appear for Std X Gujarat board/CBSE board in this academic Year. The programme will focus on understanding the importance of bioresources, their sustainable use and conservation. It will also provide an opportunity to the young students to interact with leading scientists and experts from the field. The medium of instruction will be in English and Hindi. A brief about the above programme is enclosed herewith for your kind reference.
In this connection, we would like to request you to select students of the different Schools of your district of Class X who have appeared for the Std X board examination & scored above 90% marks in Std IX. A guide line for selection of the students is enclosed herewith for your kind reference. The selected students have to submit their application form to the Gujarat Science City through their Principal as per the enclosed performa. There will be no registration fee. GCSC will provide travel support, free accommodation and local hospitality to all selected participants during the training camp.
